Recently a critter took two of our favorite birds. Rest in peace sweet Nugget Rooster and Rascal Drake. We were not sure what animal had taken them. Our neighbors have seen a bobcat in our neighborhood, and we have had bobcat prints a top the Bird House tin roof. I called a game warden hoping that they may be able to relocate the bob cat. After walking all over our property tracking it seemed more likely that it was a coon.
Tayler decided it would be a good idea to set a trap. All on her own she picked a spot, used a cracked egg for bait and set this trap. Lo and behold the next morning here is what awaited her. As you can imagine she was beyond excited and proud!
We relocated him at our local wildlife refuge near Grenada Lake.
