Happy Easter 2010

Easter Morning Before Church

Before hunting eggs...
Get ready set GO!
Brothers!
Is this a prize egg?
Joshua on the hunt!
Great picture except for the busted for the busted lip. Mommy keeps telling her no running in the house, tile hurts when you fall while chasing brothers!
Hunting on the porch.
Bren won the prize egg with a $5 bill in it. Tayler and Joshua both lucked up with 2nd place prize eggs with $1, and 50 cents.

A few good pictures trying to learn our new camera :)

We went to look at my favorite tree on the property next door and the kids had a ball running threw the tall weeds! Tayler pauses for a picture.
Bren came down to see what we were up to, he was inside reading. He has gotten into chapter books lately.
Up close of my favorite tree. I am thinking wild dogwood possibly?
Such a pretty tree in the middle of the "grown up stuff".
Tayler playing at the end of the driveway.

We Are Back/Zoo

I got my dream camera thank you to my wonderful husband! It was waiting in the garage April 1st! We were due to get Josh from the airport the next day. I packed up my camera hoping that Josh would take us somewhere to try it out. I wore a skirt to pick him up and when he loaded his bags in the trunk he saw my jeans and tennis shoes, and said are you planning a trip? Planning ahead pays off we took a trip to the zoo. It was a wonderful day! We even witnessed a baby gazelle being born! Here are a few pictures.
A Monkey in a Tree!
Oh wait here is the real one. This guy was showing out doing some odd moves. LOL
My personal favorite animal the black leopard! You can even see its spots.
Josh got a great shot of the tiger!
Joshuas' favorite giraffes.
It is hard to see but the gazelle laying in the middle has a dark spot in front of he and that is the baby she had while we watched!

Just a Quickie

My digital camera was knocked out of my hand, lens out by a very tired and ornery little boy. And yes you guessed it is is broken. So we used disposable cameras for Christmas. I plan to have them sent off to be developed and put on a disk on Monday. Sooo Christmas posts, New Years and such will be out late this time. Sorry. I promise you I am so disappointed myself. I MISS my camera and am not able to take my hundreds of pictures I normally do.
So until then ..........

Our View This AM

As Josh was getting ready to leave for work this morning, he spotted these deer out our dining room window. There were 6 in all. These three came out after eating Privet Bush. The others stayed right in the edge of the woods. Gods creation is such a blessing, and we are blessed to have a place where we see so much of it!

A X Tour Shirts

Front of my official Fox Race shirt.

And Back.

This is Brens shirt he picked out for his birthday.

This is the shirt we found on our way out. I had to think about picking it up and taking it with us, but being that we were one of the last few there and these were free anyway I knew someone else would just take it home. This is from a Sponsor of the race Storm Sprockets.
