Frog and Caterpillars

Brenden found this really neat caterpillar he was thinking it was an inch worm.
Joshuas' first time holding a frog. In the previous years he was to afraid.
Wow look what I have! I love this picture he is just so proud and in awe!
I found a frog by the house while we were putting on gutters. When we let it go it jumped right in the pond.
Joshuas' first time holding a caterpillar,
Tayler holds it so I can get a good picture. Not sure what kind these are but we have found tons all on and around the house. The kids enjoyed playing with them and finding them good trees with plenty of leaves to eat.

Our Alarm/Security System

This is our Aroara. She was my birthday present 2 years ago. I wanted her for security and protection, since Big here on the bottom only barks when his daddy comes home! She does the job and well, and even taught Big a thing or two. You should see the UPS and Fed Ex guys. I had one of them hand me a package shaking. I know people are thinking I am crazy to have such a dog just because of the reputation and that's just fine and what we want them to think. She is really such a baby. We have had her since she was 5 weeks old, and I truly believe that if they are raised in the right environment any dog can be a good dog!
This is our Big. He is a yellow lab and a magnificent retriever in the duck holes!

Better Later Than Never... Dying Eggs

Excited we finally get to dye eggs!
Bren is a camera charmer. LOL
See my egg!
And typical Joshua he cracks one of his. :) And he was so proud!
He had the best time peeling it and then they all wanted to crack them instead of dye them. Brenden and Tayler kept redying theirs for hours while I planted flowers and Joshua played in Tractor City with his new fork lift. Tractor city is in part of the yard that the kids play with their tractors and horses in. Need to get some pics up of it on here.
And the final result. Taylers on the bottom in the carton had hours of dye on them. They turned out really neat and the kids had a ball!

An Unusual Visitor

Brenden called me telling me we had something asleep in our garage. Imagine my surprise!
I climbed up on a ladder to get these close up, I think the flash woke it because you can see its eyes open here. I decided that was enough picture taking for now. We are blessed by all of God's creatures we witness here! And I am extra blessed to have had a camera to capture them!

My voilets
