Tayler asked for me to make her a dentist appointment, because her teeth were bothering her. She has the tiny mouth with regular size teeth as the dentist put it. So her teeth have no where to fit giving her lots of problems. We have known for quite awhile she would probably need braces, just not so soon. The dentist said her front tooth should have come out a year ago. It was very loose, but hurting rubbing against the new one trying to replace it. He wanted to pull it and of course Tayler wasn't having that! So he made her a deal if she would wiggle it and get it out he wouldn't have to pull it. Every time I reminded her to wiggle it she would whine and cry. Well Mommy wasn't having any of that! So that night I told her if she wasn't going to pull it I would. The little booger kicked me off the bed. I tied the string on, bringing back memories of when my dad pulled my tooth. I can remember him saying well now you have a string in your mouth and you can't walk around like that so I have to pull it. I didn't agree. He would finally coax me saying he was just going to look, to get me close enough and then pull it. Of course it never hurt. I had to tickle Tayler to distract her and when I pulled it popped out and hit the wall. Her mouth sure felt better afterwards! She even got $6 for this one!
We have an appointment with the orthodontist at the end of the month.
