Pumpkins

This year I let the kids carve and design their own.

They did a good job and had such a fun time!

Tracks and Cans

Joshua asked me to build him a track. I had to recruit Brenden to help me. There are four separate tracks. (we haven't gotten the boys things back in their closet yet due to a recent water leak, the floors are also waiting to be stained as well)

Joshua approved.

Brenden made a tin can phone.
They had lots of fun with it.

Joshua checks it out, while Brenden is well Brenden Ha ha.
Hello in there! Can you hear me?

Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween 2010

Our Cake entry for the cake contest. We won first place!

Fall Festival with Christ Community Church

Isn't this a cool bounce house.

Bumble Bee taking a break.

Fairy Princess holding on...

Dinosaur winning the race. They went in two at a time racing through this bounce obstacle course.

Bumble Bee had a blast!

Flying Fairy

Cutest Transformer ever!
Our Fairy Princess

Tricks or Treats

Fishing for candy.

Bowling.

Joshua loved this.

We had a great Halloween. We scored pumpkins for $1 at Walmart, came come carved them and made our cake. We finished just in time to get ready for the Harvest Fest . We stayed at the fall fest until about 7 and then went trick or treating until 8. Next was my favorite part coming home to watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, I ordered it from Blockbuster, it came in our mailbox that very day!

Dining Halloween Style

Pantry Door at Night
(the colors really stand out in candle light)
During the Day.
(these colors show truer than above)

Look what surprises Tayler set up for me to find in the dark.

Brenden and Tayler worked on these next two together.

Joshua and Mommies corner.

Brens' trail of spiders.

The kids say light the candles every night at dinner.
This is my best candle light photo of the tree of them.

Centerpiece

The whole room. This was the first time the kids and I have decorated a room for Halloween. It was lots of fun! I hope to collect a little bit every year. Maybe by the time they are in high school we will have enough for a Halloween Party. :)

Brenden and Fox

Shadowfox always plays hard to get. He will come running towards us meowing, once he gets our attention he runs the opposite direction. Brenden always goes after him calling him, then Shadowfox prances slowly waiting for Bren to get to him, pick him up, and carry him home. Cats are funny like that!

Fire Safety at Preschool

My bare footed fireman.

Joshua was putting together this puzzle when we got to his school.

Brenden in the white shirt trying on the heavy hat.

Joshua shaking the firefighters hand to show that he is not afraid.

Brenden said the jacket smelled like a bonfire.

These are all kids that attend Mothers Day out except for the 3 in the middle. We are so glad Mrs. Sara let us home schoolers come and see the firefighters, and truck!

Candle Light

Candles
We like how they melted together.

Smelling the candle!
I am in love with this picture! Thanks Josh!

Watching the candles, looking sleepy!

Tayler Rayn and her new haircut.I couldn't keep her hair out of her face due the the way if grows. So bangs it is. I was very surprised by how much she actually looks like I did when I was young. And it is nice to see her eyes without having to say get your hair out of your face!

Joshua eating a grill cheese, Brenden mesmerized by the flame, and Tayler giving a pretty smile!
