Memphis Zoo Boo

This year instead of Trick or Treating door to door we chose to attend the Memphis Zoo Boo. The zoo was lit up and decorated for Halloween with candy stations all over for Trick or Treaters. Though there were only a few exhibits open including the aquarium, animals of the night and farm animals there was plenty to do! A haunted hay ride, hay maze, and train ride were a few of our favorites. All the children and quite a few parents were in costume.
At the entrance several witches hung from the trees.

 Our Trick or Treat Crew
This was the entrance to creepy crawly critters.
We each petted this gorgeous Ball Python Lucy
Although we did not get to pet him we learned interesting facts Calvin Klein the Skunk.
These dinosaurs are a preview of a later exhibit to come.

 Bat above the train station.
I think my favorite decorations were the trees, where they had colored lights shining up into the leaves.
Decorations inside the train station, the lighting was super cool.

Ready to ride.
 Water snakes.
Fortunes being told. This lady told us she was a homeschooling mother as well. We enjoyed chatting with her.
I love this picture of Josh and I! This was a really fun family outing that we all enjoyed!

On our way out just a peak out how amazing the decorations were all lit up. I highly recommend the Zoo Boo and am grateful we had the chance to experience it!
