New School Year 2011

In need of a change of pace this school year we switched to http://www.timberdoodle.com/. So far we are in our 10th week and this year is going better than the last three. Yes this is our fourth year homeschooling I can hardly believe it myself! I purchased Timberdoodles recommended core curriculum for each and added Mystery of History http://www.themysteryofhistory.info/, Exploration with Botany by Apologia https://apologia.securesites.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_61&products_id=2, and A Bible Study for All Ages http://www.biblestudyguide.com/a13.htm . Joshua LOVES school and keeps me motivated by wanting to start early, I would not be surprised if he finishes Kindergarten and moves into First before the school year is out! Tayler is progressing nicely, she still doesn't like school much but has decided to buckle down and get it done! She is the one that would rather be outside or with the animals! Brenden is doing more independently now Math and Spelling are on the computer. I praise God and give him all the glory for being able to teach my kids and have them with me daily.
